A full-time professional fishing guide since 1987, Captain Tad Burke shares with his clients a passion for fishing and nature. He knows how to bring out the best in beginning anglers, and at the same time is a proven tournament winner with the skills to help experts step up their game. A captain whose top priority is his client's enjoyment, Capt. Burke is equipped to take you shelling, canoeing, and birdwatching in addition to backcountry and inshore fishing. He has spent countless hours on the water and has the patience and knowledge to guide you to your perfect day! Capt. Burke makes his home on Plantation Key in Islamorada, FL. Dedicated to the promotion of conservation of our natural resources, and preservation and restoration of the Everglades and Florida Bay, Capt. Burke has held many elected and appointed positions including the office of Commodore of the Florida Keys Fishing Guides Association from 1999 to present. Off the water, Tad spends his time with his wife, Kate, and his stepson James.
